Rockabilly of the 50’s, Classic Country of the 60’s, Outlaw Country of the 70’s, Americana of the 80’s….these are the source of today’s American roots music. It’s the story of working people. It comes from the backroad Honky Tonks, downtown dance halls and small town bars. The Rat Rod Kings are self-proclaimed rulers of Mid-Western-Honky-Rock with original songs like Cold Beer and Outlaw Way that have all the makings of Country-Western classics, as well as 30 Days in Abeliene and Old River which are new takes on the classic Southern-Rock genre. Just like the name implies, the Rat Rod Kings take the best of their diverse musical influences and weld them all together to work like a well-oiled, hopped-up, musical machine.
