The Trophy Mules

“Exceptionally well-played, pleasant country/Americana.” – Riverfront Times

The Trophy Mules combine rock, classic country and folk elements to deliver a distinctive and timeless collection of material that stretches across musical boundaries.

The St. Louis band fronted by veteran singer-songwriter Corey Saathoff released a six-song effort titled “Sunset Collapse” in 2016 and the full-length album “Sorry Motel” in 2013, both of which are available on iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby and at select St. Louis record stores.

The Trophy Mules released their debut full-length album “Sorry Motel” in 2013, receiving several spins on KDHX 88.1 FM in St. Louis and other stations. The song “Marigold Life” off “Sorry Motel” was named 2013 Song of the Year by KDHX DJ Pat Wolfe. Another tune from that album, “Slow Southern Rain,” was nominated in the Riverfront Times Readers’ Choice Poll for “Best Local Single of the Past 12 Months.” In 2014, the band was nominated for a Riverfront Times Music Award in the category of “folk-country.”

The Trophy Mules have opened for such national and regional acts as Shooter Jennings, Chris Knight, Webb Wilder, Sons of Bill, American Aquarium, Deadstring Brothers, Star & Micey and Mountain Sprout.
